FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions for your convenience. If you have additional questions, feel free to email contact me via phone or email.


WE LOVE YOUR WORK. HOW DO WE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE MORE? HOW DO I BOOK A CONSULTATION?

Please fill out the contact form on my contact page and provide as much information as you have regarding your wedding or special event. You will receive a response within 24 hours.


HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET WITH YOU?

It's best to make an appointment to meet as soon as you know the details of your wedding or special event in order to secure your date.

WHO SHOULD I BRING TO THE CONSULTATION?

The bride and groom, event coordinator and/or the person(s) financially responsible for paying should attend the consultation


SHOULD WE MEET IN PERSON FIRST?

It would be best to meet in person initially so you can see some of the albums and other deliverables in person. If you are out of town and unable to meet in person, we can have a consultation via Skype or FaceTime.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR WEDDING/EVENT PACKAGES?

I offer several standard wedding/event packages based on specific variables such as the amount of coverage and album desired. A custom personalized package can be created to meet your specific needs.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

I certainly understand that budget is always of great concern when planning a wedding or other event. And, although I'd love to provide my clients with discounts, my prices already reflect an incredible bargain. Therefore, in light of my already discounted pricing, I'm unfortunately unable to offer reduced pricing on my products or services.

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE ARE INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?

Coverage time is up to you. The amount of coverage will be based on the package you choose. If you would like additional coverage on top of what is included in your package, you can add that from our a la carte menu.


WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?

You can view them on a private page on my website within 30 days of your wedding or event.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOGRAPHS?

We never want to compromise on quality in a rush to finish faster, so your contract will state it may take up to 6 months in case circumstances arise that prevent us from maintaining our 3-4 month estimate.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL WE RECEIVE?

The final number of photographs will vary based on several variables including the amount of coverage, having a large wedding party, the album was chosen or an abundance of cultural traditions which can often result in more photographs than is typical.

DO YOU PROVIDE US WITH DIGITAL FILES OR FILES I CAN PRINT FROM?

Digital files can be provided at an additional cost.

WILL YOU HOLD MY WEDDING DATE?

A signed contract and non-refundable deposit are required in order to lock in your date.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS FOR WEDDING OR EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY?

The remaining balance minus the non-refundable deposit is due no later than 30 calendar days prior to your wedding or event date. Payments can be made with a personal check, cashier's check, money order or cash only.

CAN WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A WEDDING PHOTOS LIST?

I don't work from a photographic checklist during weddings or events as they can be a distraction and may thus impact my ability to work. However, if you need a photograph of someone important to you or something special that you think I won't notice, please let me know prior to your wedding or event and I will do my best to include it. I'll be sure to capture the most important moments of your day (and many, many moments that might not be so momentous).

WILL YOU BE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER OR WILL SOMEONE ELSE PHOTOGRAPH OUR WEDDING?

I will be one of two photographers for your wedding or special event.


WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN'T PHOTOGRAPH OUR WEDDING?

In the unlikely event that I am injured or become ill, I'll do my best to secure a replacement photographer. If a replacement cannot be found or if you find my suggested replacement(s) unacceptable, then I'll refund your retainer and all money paid to date, less any monies for services already rendered.

DO YOU REQUIRE MEALS AT THE RECEPTION?

By the time the reception arrives we’ve been working non-stop for up to 10 hours without a break or a chance to grab a snack, so we need a chance to recoup so we’re ready to capture the rest of your evening. Because we don’t want to leave the venue or miss any of the action, we ask that meals be provided at the wedding reception as part of our contract.
